Draker Selected for 2MW Utility-scale PV Plant Monitoring at Massachusetts
Draker is pleased to announce today that it has been selected to install its fully integrated Draker AC and Clarity™ DC panel-to-grid (P2G) monitoring solution at a 2 MW-AC site, the largest installation to date for a fully integrated Draker AC and Clarity DC monitoring system. The solar PV plant in Massachusetts is a fixed mount, 600V system with utility grid interconnection. -

Conergy Built 1.2MW PV Plant for Spanish Students
Thanks to the new 1.2 megawatt Conergy power plant, which the system supplier realised in collaboration with its long-time partner Compañía Regional de Energía Solar (CRES) and Elsamex, an energy service company as investor and operator of the plant. The students and teaching staff of the University of Almería will be benefiting in two ways: The new carport facility will allow them to park their cars in the shade in the future. At the same time, the power plant will produce clean solar power directly on the "La Cañada" campus after grid connection on 30 January. -

Mizuho Led Japanese Group of Companies to Build 200MW PV Plant in Gujarat
Mizuho Financial Group Inc. will lead a group of Japanese companies to build a 200MW solar plant in Gujarat costing around 30 billion yen ($325 million) Masako Shiono, a company spokeswoman told a news agency. Mizuho’s corporate lending unit signed a memorandum of understanding with Gujarat’s government in January. Kyocera Corp. may supply solar panels to the Mizuho project, the Nikkei newspaper reported earlier. -

DelSolar Modules Receive 1000V UL Certification
DelSolar Co., Ltd. today announced its solar modules have passed 1000 volt UL certification. It is the first solar company in Taiwan to receive this certification. DelSolar’s 60-cell and 72-cell modules, including the D6C_B3A-WS, D6S_B3A-WSf, D6C_B4A-WS and D6S_B4A-WSf solar module series have all qualified under this test. -
