Sungrow announced that a 30 MWp project with its 1500V string inverters has been operating high-efficiently since commissioned on November 10th, 2021.

The project is owned by Total Eren, a leading renewable energy Independent Power Producer (“IPP”) headquartered in Paris. The projects were awarded a feed-in premium in July 2019 in the frame of a public tender organized by the Regulatory Authority for Energy (“RAE”).

The project is located in three locations in Northern Greece, working with Sungrow SG250HX string inverter solutions. The PV modules installed follow the sun thanks to a tracker system: SG250HX inverters, with 12 MPPTs are ideal for maximizing the energy production when irradiation level changes throughout the day.

With outdoor design and IP66 ingress protection rating, SG250HX is very resistant to harsh environmental conditions. The smart forced air cooling also ensures the long-lasting life of the inverter even under high working temperatures.

The project is expected to generate 51 GWh of clean electricity per year, equivalent to eliminating 43,000 tons of carbon dioxide and power over 3,400 Greek households per year.
