    Canadian Solar Completes the Sale of Illumination Solar Power Plant to DIF

    Canadian Solar Inc. today announced the sale of the 10MW AC (14MW DC) Illumination LP solar power plant to an affiliate of DIF Infrastructure III ("DIF"). The solar power plant, valued at CAD $65.9 Million (USD$48.4 Million), consists of approximately 47,448 Canadian Solar MaxPower CS6X-300/310P PV modules and is located in Scugog, Ontario. It reached commercial operation on November 13, 2015, and will sell electricity pursuant to a 20-year Independent Electricity System Operator feed-in-tariff contract.

This is still in the process of being confirmed by the National Instituteof Metrology Standardization and Industrial Quality in Brazil.     Solar Frontier Completes 2.3MW PV Project in the Netherlands

    Solar Frontier announced today that its recently completed 2.3MW project in the Netherlands, constructed in collaboration with KiesZon and Ikaros Solar, has surpassed its July-November energy generation target by 6%. This means that thyssenkrupp Material will now be able to procure more energy at a lower cost than obtaining electricity sourced from the grid.
