Nov. 29, 2013 - Astronergy intends to acquire Conergy's module factory Conergy SolarModule GmbH & Co. KG in Frankfurt (Oder). Around 200 local jobs are expected to be saved under the condition of successful acquisition.
"We are very pleased that we have found a German partner with the Frankfurt module factory. We are convinced of the high quality and the profound know how at the manufacturing site and intend to acquire and preserve the location. We plan to fully integrate the factory into our existing structures", said Dr. Chuan Lu, Vice President of Astronergy. "Thereby, the manufacture will form part of a global solar player and will benefit from our sales channels. The Company is under the final decision making process."

"We are very happy that with Astronergy a global player from the industry intends to partner with us and to thereby secure around 200 of the employments in Frankfurt.
