Panasonic Enterprise Solutions Company and Coronal Group LLC announced development of a 26MW solar system located near Lost Hills, Calif. The 200-acre project will generate emission-free solar power that will be sold to Southern California Edison (SCE) under a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement and contribute to SCE's fulfillment of California's Renewable Portfolio Standard requirements.

The Panasonic-Coronal team brings its expertise in solar engineering, finance, operations and management to mid-to large-size corporate end-users, institutions and public sector organizations. The one-stop shop model provides a streamlined, end-to-end renewable energy solution that is an efficient and reliable platform to lower energy costs.

"The Panasonic-Coronal team has earned a reputation for being able to simplify complex challenges, execute agreements and quickly bring solar projects into operation," said Panasonic Enterprise Solutions' Jamie Evans, Eco Solutions Managing Director. "This latest solar project - generating enough energy to power the equivalent of 5,000 homes – proves that the Panasonic-Coronal platform can deploy significant solar assets capable of generating affordable, clean energy across North America."

"The Lost Hills project is further proof that utility companies throughout North America are embracing our model and successfully transitioning projects to the Panasonic-Coronal team to complete and manage," said Jonathan Jaffrey, Coronal's CEO and Managing Director. "We believe the continued success of our platform and the surging interest in solar projects will continue to create more opportunities for us to introduce clean energy in the marketplace."
