May 19, 2014 - A solar cell project between Canadian Solar Inc. and Golden Concord Holdings Limited has broken earth in Jiangsu Province, east China.
The JV project will be built into a major solar cell production base for CSI, with a total investment from both sides reaching CNY 1.5 billion. Designed with 1.2GW production capacity as a whole, the first phase will have 300MW production line, expected to start production from December, generating sales value of CNY 750 million a year.
