Canadian Solar Supplies Solar Modules to Delhi International Airport in India

Jan. 29, 2014 - Canadian Solar today announced that it has been selected as the sole photovoltaic ("PV") module supplier for a 2.1MW solar power plant at the Delhi International Airport in India.

"We are very pleased to supply our high efficiency modules to this landmark solar power project at the Delhi International Airport, which is so far the largest airport solar project in India," commented Dr. Shawn Qu, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Canadian Solar. "This is another example of our success in supplying our high quality modules to rapidly growing emerging markets, as we successfully execute on our market diversification strategy."

The construction of this project started in October 2013 and was completed in December 2013. Canadian Solar supplied its 60 cell CS6P245P modules with power output of 245Wp for this project.
