Belectric Australia Receives Planning Permission for Its First Solar Power Plant in Australia

Jan. 22, 2013 - Belectric Australia has received planning permission for a 5MW solar power plant in Mildura, Victoria, "Mildura Solar Power Plant 1". Belectric developed the project and will build the Solar Power Plant.

"The planning permit is the first step toward implementing further solar projects in Australia," reported the Managing Director of Belectric Australia, Nir Dekel, and continued "We thank the Mildura Council for its active cooperation and also Clean Technology Partners who have successfully engaged with the network operator for permission to connect".

Clean Technology Partners will play a decisive role throughout the entire technical process. "Australia offers excellent conditions for photovoltaic energy production and is one of the growth markets of the future. Together with Belectric, one of the most competent and experienced companies in the market, we see great potential for the realisation of further power plants" said Lachlan Bateman, Managing Director of Clean Technology Partners, highlighting the significance of the project and the close cooperation of both companies. As a consequence of the successful cooperation, Belectric has concluded a framework agreement with Clean Technology Partners for subsequent projects.
